One Month and Counting
Post pleasure present moment. I have just enjoyed a short series of events that equaled ecstasy. Beginning the morning at a rustic hot springs in Tonopah, Arizona.
Showering, bathing, resting, and breathing in the womb of Gaia. A well earned meditation after an impromptu ceremony at Joshua Tree where we laughed, giggled, cried, expressed, and reflected on our journey together thus far. Spreading the goodness has never been so easy and so hard at the same time.
As we rolled into the Whole Foods (our second home away from home)
parking lot this afternoon, my mouth waters as I dream of making raw sushi, mushroom miso soup, and my new invention: Chocolate Coco Durian Delight.
We roll through the store as if everything was already written, known, and played out.
Just people living our destiny in a mildy normal awakened manner of being.
I don't mean to be redundant, but shopping for food has become a mystical experience as we prepare to create our organic edible art with intention and love.
As we leave the store, I am "tricked" into receiving a kombucha from a pretty skinny blonde young girl who is so happy to be sampling this ancient healthy beverage.
I am definitely being blessed.
Rolling up to Kat's house is total salvation as we prepare our laundry, our dishes, and our computers to catch up on work and prepare for the next leg of the tour through the south. Before I know it, my dirty clothes are in the hands of a sweet old woman that could have been my third grandmother who decided it was her duty to clean and fold a strangers clothes. Did I mention I feel the universe is suddenly working overtime in my favor.
After two hours of e-mail, I decide it's time to whip up a feast for all the senses.
With assistance, i eventually chop, mash, cut, grate, heat, slice, mix, and roll my way to Japan with simple vegan sushi, but somehow I don't think they make it like this overseas. Accompanied by succulent sipping soup, salad, and wasabi, we are walking through the garden of goodies as nourishment gently digests and composts in our tummies.
We discuss our job over dinner. We each have a different interpretation of what we do, how we do it, where we're going, and what it all means. Nobody really knows, but we do know we are making a difference and living the ongoing change. Raising consciousness one sample at a time. Giving out free stuff for a living is quite a paradox, but it's one I love to dance in.
After the main course, we listen to one of Kat's roommates play live acoustic covers of classic folk, jazz, and rock tunes. I'm back in the kitchen, cuisinarting a spontaneous dessert of delicious tropical tantilization. I am inspired in the moment to feed our hosts and my busmates a tantric dish as sensuous as kisses in the dark.
I feed it to them slowly to the tune of a violin and hot chocolate chasing the softy mushy cool goo down their throats into blissful bottoms.
Satisfied and happy with myself, I stroll to the bathroom to brush my teeth and am invited to listen to Hip-Hop shortly after. Blown away by conscious lyrics that speak directly and deeply to my soul, I slip into a state of creativity that leads me to writing my first blog. I hope it's been fun and that you will return for more.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go climb into bed between two gorgeous goddesses and breath deeply as i drift into the dreamtime.
